MEGA4000AT

The MEGA 4000AT is an enhanced Version of the A4000T . The system eliminates the shortcomings found in the original A4000 Tower (namely lack of space and 880K floppy drive). The MEGA 4000AT is designed to accommodate the entire Video Flyer system, including the video and audio hard drives, TBC’s, Vscope ect , without the need for an external drive bay or octopus cable. This eliminates potential problems which are caused when using multiple case configurations including ground loops and video stuttering due to bad SCSI cabling. The 10 Bay case includes multiple cooling fans to optimize drive performance and to keep the Toaster and Flyer card cool. Other features include a hefty 300 Watt Power Supply (400/600 watt , optional), High-Density Floppy drive, 50 MHZ 68060 processor standard (200 MHZ Power PC processor optional) , and an optional De-interlaced display which allows the use of standard VGA Monitors with the Toaster System.

A second system called the MEGA 4000AR is a rack-mount version allowing easy integration into studio environments. The system is housed in a standard 19” EIA rack enclosure and comes in either 5 bay or 9 bay sizes. All systems come with AmigaDos Version 3.1 and can be configured to your requirements.
