VT-Vision

Keeping a close eye on your production is imperative, and NewTek makes it easy and affordable with VT-Vision™, one of the many tools designed to make production simpler. Right on your computer screen, open up Program, Preview and Key monitors, which will give you gorgeous video playback at 60 fields per second NTSC or 50 fields per second PAL. Yes, for critical output, you will always have dedicated full-time video output from the composite, Y/C or Component connection to your monitor, but there are times when you just want confirmation that all is well.

When lugging several monitors into the field may not be practical, VT-Vision gives you the luxury of several different sizes and even differing aspects just by right clicking on the VT-Vision module.

All VT® modules are software-driven, and VT-Vision is a true video overlay on your computer screen. Just like a real-world production monitor, you can view your output in underscan mode, to keep an eye on frame edges.

Quite unlike most physical monitors, however, is the ability to select Program, Preview, Program In, or Key views with the click of a button. Closing any VT-Vision monitor is as simple as clicking on the power button. Video experts, not computer people, are responsible for the design of VT[3]. That is why NewTek offers you tools that make sense to everyone who has ever worked with real-world gear. For example, VT-Vision allows you to gauge critical thresholds using the built-in Zebra and Illegal video indicators.

Need a couple different sizes? No problem, as any VT-Vision module can be half-res, full-sized, or occupy the entire screen, if you are running a dual-screen monitor display. VT-Vision is just more example of the kind of tools we give you to let you get right to work.

Calibrate the VT-Vision program out to match your output monitors by using convenient on screen dials for Brightness, Contrast and Hue. These controls do not effect output, just your monitor view, and all views are enhanced with hardware-accelerated video downscaling.
