The emphasis here is on real-time, high quality work. Thanks to VT[3]’s native uncompressed processing of all incoming video. In live production, the VT[3] keyer can easily key captured clips or live video over stills, video or secondary camera angles as a real-time process. Quickly set up Luminance keys, to erase backgrounds, or, for ultimate control, use the Chroma keyer to eliminate blue or green screen backgrounds. VT[3] provides a key choke control to simplify eliminating problematic key edges.

An exclusive feature is NewTek’s Cross Keyer™, which provides a vectorscope display to sample and key out multiple colors at the same time. Cross Keyer is available both as a live module, and as a compositing tool within Aura Video Paint.

In VT-Edit, you can composite and key as many layers as you wish in real-time. Should you exceed the capabilities of your system, continue working as the Background Render engine continues to process while you focus on creativity. Further refine keys with VT-Edit’s ability to manipulate just the red, blue or green channels.
